Everything by LIfehouse

I wanted to share this video. My family is moved everytime they watch it. It was done so well. It is so true to real life. We start out as new christians, life is good. Then little by little sin comes into our life making this barrier between us and Christ. All the while Christ is pulling us to come back, but allows you to make your own decisions. The sin gets deeper, and the deeper you get into sin the more miserable you become. Christ fades further into the distance. But he never left, he is still there pulling you back. Finally you have hit rock bottom, your scared and don't want to do what the devil is telling you to do. You throw the sin away and try to run to Christ, but there is the sin standing in your way and holding you back. The devil keeps throwing it back into your face. As long as he can hold you back, you cannot reach Christ. Christ see's you running and see's you fighting, it's then that he runs in to protect you. As you begin to pray, the sin is still there taunting you and haunting you. The closer you become to Christ, that sin fades away. But you have to want to come back. Are you ready to fight back? Are you ready to give up your life and come back to the Christ that loves you. The Christ that died for you and never left you. He is waiting for you to come back. What will today be? Another day being pulled deeper into sin, or another day that you take a step back to Christ.

comment on Go Figure

This is the comment I left on Pastor Shane's blog titled "Go Figure". http://relevancefortoday.blogspot.com/ I too have been trying to decide how I would comment to this blog. I think that there are 3 kinds of people in the world who would deal with this situation. One is the person who chooses to believe that people don't really need help. It's easy to sit at home on their comfortable couch and never wonder how many people need some of the food in their cabinets, or clothes out of their closet, or money in their wallet. The second person, knows there is a person that needs help and believes that it is someone else's job, maybe they don't have enough money themselves and do not feel the need to help someone else. They often pass the responsibilty on to someone else. The third is the person who wants to get the job done, who see's a need that needs to be met and finds some way to care of it. They share what they have, even if they have very little, they try every resource they can to help someone in need. If I were to ask which person a christian person should be, which would you choose? and why? I am going to stop there and allow each to comment. When we have your comments, then I will share the rest of my story. I have a great story to share, so please leave your comments.
